Spaceship Santa has boobies??????

So, it's almost Christmas and I'm feeling the spirit! I LOVE seeing the kids' faces when they open something they didn't even know they wanted! I'm that crazy person who is standing with my hands on the LaLa Loopsy doll at Walmart at the crack of dawn on Black Friday so I can get it for $2.00 cheaper! And I love that my kids believe in Santa with their whole hearts and that I can use that to get them to clean their rooms for at least 2 months out of the year. Recently, my big girls have had some questions though. That's probably my fault since I'm terrible at lying on the spot and I might have told them before that Santa drives a spaceship and that is how he gets to all the kids so fast. oops! I've learned now that when in doubt you always say "It's Magic!" Anyway, as we sat at dinner tonight and talked about Christmas and Santa, the girls were asking me things like, "The fake Santas at the mall look so real, how can so many people look like Santa?" and "Some kids in my class don't believe in Santa. Why not? Doesn't he give toys to ALL kids?" Well these are more complicated questions that can't just be answered with "It's Magic!" so I came up with some answers that I thought would work and tried to change the subject. The big girls seemed ok with my answers and a silence fell over the table for a few minutes. Then Maizy speaks up and says, "Does Santa have boobies?" and "Why is his butt so big?" Thank goodness she said that because it made us all laugh and the serious questions stopped. After dinner I started thinking what if this is the last Christmas that the big girls believe in Santa? I will be so sad if I can't come up with good enough lies to answer their questions!! When you stop believing in Santa, some of the magic leaves you and you become like that jerk yesterday who cut in front of me in line at Kroger while I was trying to get out of there with 4 kids and then he wouldn't make eye contact with me when I was saying how rude that was in a loud voice to the kids but not directly at him! I have issues with that. I can't confront people. But anyways, I don't want that to happen to my kids! At least not yet. Hopefully, I'll have at least a couple more years filled with blackmail and lies. But you better believe the day the kids ask for some expensive, extravagant gift and say "It's ok Santa will just make it" THAT will be the day they get educated!!! Merry Christmas to all my Santa friends out there. May your kids dreams be filled with reindeer, candy canes, and spaceships????????
