1st book

So, some of you may know that I really like to write children's books and poetry. My kids love the "David" books and as I was reading one to them the other day I had an idea to write my own series of books called "Crazy Maizy" It's a similar idea but it's stories about a 2 year old girl told from a big sister's point of view. I want to see what you guys think. This is the first one titled "Crazy Maizy"

I have a little sister. She's only two years old.
I call her crazy Maizy because she never does what she's told!

She's always saying "No!" to mom and running away from dad.
She has her own toys, but plays with mine and that really makes me mad!

She never says she's sorry when she does anything wrong,
And her time outs compared to mine, are never very long.

She colors on the walls sometimes and hides my parents' keys.
She hardly uses her manners, like saying "thank you" or "please".

She doesn't like to take a bath or help pick up her toys.
And when I feel like taking a nap, she just HAS to make lots of noise.

She always lets my hamster out and she writes inside my books.
And when I tell her not to do that, she gives me dirty looks!

My mom says I should show her all the right things to do,
because she looks up to me, even though she's only two.

I know it probably sounds as if my sister drives me nutty.
But to tell the truth I'm glad she is my crazy little buddy.

Because before she was my sister, mom was strict and in control.
Now just to make it through the store, is our biggest goal.

I hope one day when she's big, she will be like me.
Although, I might be more adorable, we'll just have to wait and see!

the end.
