So, my "almost" two year old, Maizy, has been known to be a troublemaker. Well, some call her crazy and others put it nicely and say she has a "strong personality" but any way you look at it, she is a little wild. I usually blame it on an early onset of the terrible twos or the fact that her big sisters are 5 years older than her and she learned everything she knows from them. She is "that kid" in Target screaming for a toy and the one running around and touching other people's things at gymnastics class while we wait on the big girls to be done. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she does things on purpose to me. Like, she knows how to unlock my iphone and she gets it and hides and then she goes into my contact list and edits the names and numbers to be gibberish. Once she used Zach's cell phone to call my cell phone from the other room to tell me she wanted juice. I'm sure this was an accident, but sometimes I really do wonder. It's funny because the "big girls" (the twins) were nothing like this when they were little. They had phases of acting up and Avery was in trouble a lot more often than Kenna was, but nothing on Maizy's level. The big girls were so shy they wouldn't even play with other kids their own age. Maizy will walk right up to any kid and strike up a conversation about who knows what and have a new best friend within two minutes. Even the kids that don't want to be friends with her end up succumbing to her because she just won't give up. These are just a few Maizy facts: When she gets mad she crosses her arms and stomps off. If she sees someone put hot sauce on a chip, she has to have hot sauce too. She knows the words to the Justin Bieber song, "Baby." She's a pretty good hip hop dancer (check out my video on facebook for proof). She hides things in the dryer. She is obsessed with babies and baby dolls, and she takes one with her wherever she goes. She doesn't like it when we cut her cheeseburger in half. She has to wear shoes anytime she steps foot outside of the house, and SHE has to pick them out! She loves taking showers and playing in the toilet, and she blames everything on Avery no matter what it is. She turns the TV on and off constantly and when we go shopping she insists on walking and touching everything she sees while gasping at how lovely it is. She doesn't like to wear clothes or be restrained in any way, including the car seat. She bites Avery on the bottom when she is mad at her and she is already very familiar with our time out chair. I could go on and on about the things that make Maizy a little bit crazy, but that might be a bit too long for a blog. My point to this is that at the end of the day when I am on my last strand of patience with her, she will look up at me with those huge blue eyes and smile and I forget that just five minutes ago she dumped a whole sippy cup of apple juice in the floor when she decided to take the lid off. She gives me "spice" in my life and she never allows me to have a boring day. I can't imagine a world with her not in it. She is such a stinker, but I love her to death and I wouldn't trade her for the world!!! p.s. Do you see the cuteness, even while covered in purple popsicle?! I heart her.

Love it she sounds so much like Aidan...he can be a bit challenging and willful at times too. I can't wait to see them playing together someday!
