Next book

Ok next one is called "Crazy Maizy Goes to the Zoo" Every book will start with the same first page. There are a couple of grammar things I still need to fix, but this is it so tell me what you think about this one. Be honest.




I have a little sister. She's only two years old.
I call her crazy Maizy. She NEVER does what she's told!


Last week we visited the zoo with our mom and dad.
I was good the entire time. Maizy was only half bad.


We started with the turtles, then made our way to the giraffes.
She was blowing them kisses. It got a lot of laughs.


Mom let us ride the carousel and it was so much fun!
Maizy was scared and screamed really loud until the ride was done.


After that we stopped to eat lunch on a blanket in the shade.
Maizy kept chasing the birds away, but I ate my lunch and obeyed.


Then we headed off to see my favorite. The monkeys!
Dad said Maizy fit right in! He always likes to tease.


Next, we saw the tigers and Maizy thought they were so cute.
She even asked to pet one. That girl is such a hoot!


We also saw some elephants, zebras, birds, and a kangaroo.
Maizy kept trying to feed them all, but they don't allow that at the zoo.


Finally, mom said it was time to go, but we could get a souvenier.
Maizy ran all over the store and said "NO!" when mom said "Come here!"


I got a stuffed flamingo and a green zookeepers hat.
Maizy got a time out. She really didn't like that.


I wish we could go back sometime. I had such a blast,
and mom says Maizy's craziness is unlikely to last.


I hope she's right because sometimes Maizy sure embarrasses me.
Still, there's no one else's big sister in the world I'd rather be!
